VISIT BY RIGHTWAY NURSERY & PRIMARY SCHOOL IN PICTURES

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication has had the privilege to be visited by the students of Rightway Nursery & Primary School, where more than 90 students toured the campus for the purpose of learning how Mlimani Media operates. The moments were captured by Said Mussa and Sam Gidori.

Students are being instructed on the tools used for broadcasting
at Mlimani Radio by Latifa Said, a presenter at Mlimani Radio.
"This is how we wear headphones. Can you hear anything?"

how live broadcasting is done.
Above all, the studio rules must be respected. No shoes on the red carpet.
All shoes must be left outside.
The students had time to pass through today's news at the library.

FROM KOREAN STUDIES CENTER (KSC - UDSM)


Action Campaign and Dialogue on "Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" was held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Mlimani Campus, University of Dar es Salaam.




According to the Coordinator of the Korean Studies Centre (KSC-UDSM), Dr. Robert Suphian, the event attracted students from universities and colleges of Tanzania, members from civil societies, development partners and global peace stakeholders in general. 


He mentioned the Universities of Dodoma, Sokoine of Morogoro, Ardhi and the host, University of Dar es Salaam, others were from the Dar es Salaam Institute of Diplomacy, Institute of Accountancy Arusha, Global Peace Foundation and others.














Participants take part during the outside activities which included Box pictures, selfie, and posting of ideas.

SJMC STUDENTS TRAINED ON MEDIA RELATED LAWS AND ETHICS

Students of the University of Dar es Salaam, School of Journalism and Mass Communication (UDSM-SJMC) have received a two-days training on media related laws and media ethics as to familiarize them with the laws governing their profession.


The training took place at SJMC located in Mikocheni A, from 19th to 20th August 2019, where 50 students pursuing diploma and bachelor degree in different fields of communication. The training is part of a six-weeks training conducted by Internews, a non-governmental organization that facilitates training  on  radio journalism to help young journalists improve their skills on the field.
